River Cruises

River cruises are a unique way to experience the sights and sounds of a city, whether you opt for a luxury wine-and-dine package or a more vibrant, family-orientated trip.

Take a voyage along your favourite city’s waterways and explore the stunning sights as you sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

At 365Tickets, we offer exciting packages for a number of river cruises. So whether you want to see London’s iconic sights, take in the scenic, historical views of York, enjoy a delicious meal on a Budapest dinner cruise or take in the stunning light displays of Sydney’s Vivid Festival, we’ve got a cruise to suit you.

River cruises vs. ocean cruises: What’s the difference?

The big difference between a river cruise and an ocean cruise is the vessel you travel on. Ocean cruises use mega-ships that can carry thousands of passengers, whereas river cruise ships are generally smaller and hold fewer than 200 people.

The smaller size of a river ship is advantageous because they are narrow enough to enter waterways, docks and locks. They can sail beneath bridges in places such as Budapest, Paris, Amsterdam and Prague, allowing them to explore some of the world’s most fascinating city centres.

Benefits of river cruises

River cruises are a fantastic way to take in the atmospheric views of a city. There’s plenty to love about them, but here are our favourite factors!

•    You get to visit a new place without the hassle of packing, checking-in and unpacking

•    You can learn about the history of a city and its legendary rivers, and how they play a part in the heritage and culture of that area

•    You get to take part in fun activities such as walking tours

•    You’ll get to meet and socialise with other passengers on your river cruise

•    You can sight-see to your heart’s content, without having to worry about the weather spoiling your experience

If a river cruise sounds like the perfect activity to fit into your next trip, you’ve come to the right place! Check out our selection of river cruises below and start your adventure today.
